Up and away...that's where I wish I could be today, on a plane or a boat or a balloon headed anywhere new and interesting. Instead I am down here on earth with the heat and the bug bites to keep me company. *Sigh* Such is the way of summer. Today's post will be short and sweet. I've been working extra hours and traveling on my days off to various bodies of water and amusement parks in an attempt to make fun summer memories with my family while simultaneously staying cool. I'm not sure the cooling off part is working out, but, hey we're making memories...even if they're memories of being miserably hot together.
So, a quick review of this dress before I dash out again for my 9-5 or some summer recreation: This is my first Voodoo Vixen purchase and I'm very pleased with this brand so far. ModCloth has labeled it the Get a Float of This Midi Dress and it is gorgeous with vibrant, stunning colors. The print is crisp, the fabric is a good quality, though it is a synthetic material and I prefer natural fibers. The straps are adjustable and the skirt has two pockets. Unfortunately, the dress only comes in sizes S-XL, so it was a bit big, but not terribly noticeable. I love the sweet heart neckline and the pleated waist, it's a very flattering style for any size or body type, and of course the print and colors make for something altogether eye-catching.
